Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

Eligibility Criteria:

• Completion of secondary or higher education that meets Bulgarian standards.

• Academic performance equivalent to at least 62% of the maximum grade in your country’s grading system (comparable to "Good 4" in Bulgaria).

• No medical conditions that would interfere with the chosen field of study.

Required Documents:

• A completed application form or letter with a brief CV outlining the faculty, major, mode of study (full-time or part-time.

• Original diploma (whether secondary or higher education) with a complete academic record and legalized.

• Language proficiency certificate (minimum Upper-intermediate level B2).

• Copy of passport or identity card with names in the Latin alphabet. Dual citizens must also submit Bulgarian identity documents.

• Two recent passport-sized photographs.

• All documents must be translated and legalized according to international agreements or standard procedures.

Application Timeline:

• For programs beginning in October: Submit all required documents between July 15 and September 13, 2024.

• For programs starting in February: Submit documents between October 1, 2024, and January 17, 2025.

• It's advisable to start the diploma recognition process at least six months before the application deadline.

Entrance Exam

Entrance exams include subject-specific tests in areas like Biology, Chemistry, or Mathematics, depending on the chosen major. Language proficiency exams may also be required of the program is in English.
